Method and Myth · "Build what comes next."
// A roguelite where you write the AI.
You are the last rune smith in a world the void already ended. Hide in your magical Forge, build golems, and write the logic that sends them out to gather, fight, and rebuild. Master each region before the void closes in, recover what matters, then move the Forge and write a better plan.

# This is real gameplay: your golems run the scripts you write. if Time.is_night: guard() else: harvest(target='crystal_bloom', resource='crystal')
the whole game in four lines: sense the world, pick a priority, act
Write rules like "if night, guard the Forge" or "if crystal is low, harvest the Bloom." Stamp the routine into a golem and it follows your priorities without direct orders.
Fourteen lessons sit beside the routine editor, from your first harvest rule to functions and shared memory. Each goal is met in the running world by a routine you wrote: the lesson is marked done, a permanent Mastery point is yours to collect, and the next lesson waits.
You script the work by daylight: who gathers, who rebuilds, who falls back. Then the void manifests after dusk - and you watch your plan hold the line without direct control.
Every Rune the Forge inscribes is a new word for your routines - variables, selectors, loops - paid in stone, metal, and working time at the anvil.
Salvaged wood, stone, metal, crystal, and void essence become new frames, modules, tools, and defenses.
Renewable Blooms reward restraint; deep mines and void scars reward risk. Your scripts decide what gets exhausted.
Frame-perfect plays no hands could time: your script blinks out of a strike, drinks the draught it brewed, and heals one hit before death.
Speak another player's true name and their Envoy crosses between Forges - watch it work, learn, send gratitude. Or host a friend over P2P.
The Forge is stocked, the golems are scripted, and the void breaks against a system that no longer needs your hands.
It's a game where your progression isn't just about stats - it's about the logic you write. In void survive(), you build golems and program their behavior in the built-in script editor. They execute your instructions automatically while you improve the plan.
Yes. Think of the logic optimization from games like Factorio or Screeps, applied to golems gathering, fighting, hauling, and rebuilding in a world already consumed by the void.
No! Start from suggested routines and tweak them one line at a time. The language reads like Python (if this, do that), and the Forge's Rune tree unlocks new language features as you play.

Yes, and it takes your code seriously without demanding prior experience. It is a coding roguelite: you write real if-then logic in the AI script editor to automate your golems, and the language itself deepens as you play.
